Administers nursing care within the scope of practice under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician, dentist, podiatrist, optometrist, or chiropractor. Maintains medication accountability records and observes, documents, and reports patient conditions. Provides general nursing, direct care, and programming assistance to patients. Assists lower-level direct care staff in providing general unskilled nursing care and participates in various meetings.
