While demonstrating excellent customer service, provides general nursing support in the Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program and the Primary Care Suite under the direction of the RN Supervisor. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES:Age Specific Competencies:Demonstrates knowledge, skills and abilities to provide care to the age groups served. Interpret age-specific responses to treatment. Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific safety precautions. Operations/ Planning:Review schedules and prepare daily activities as appropriate. Administer methadone adhering to the medication administration policy. Conducts drug screenings. Administers PPD Tests. Demonstrates knowledge of current immunization practices. Sets up appropriate work area including exam rooms. Performs appropriate nursing intake based on program requirements. Takes and records accurate vital signs.
