Join Senior Care Therapy, a clinician-owned company, as we seek full-time and part-time Licensed Mental Health Counselors to offer in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric community. We are proud to serve over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities, including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living facilities.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting individual and group therapy sessions for residents in subacute or skilled nursing environments.
  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating various emotional and behavioral health conditions, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
  • Creating and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Collaborating with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to enhance patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards using our designed electronic health record system.
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in your state.
  • Strong communication skills in both oral and written English.
  • Basic technology proficiency, particularly with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, within 45 minutes travel time.
  • Physical capacity to walk, stand, and move throughout patient care facilities.
  • Full vaccination and booster may be required at some facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in clinical settings such as subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare.
  • Background in treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders; psych or addictions experience is a plus.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
