Job Type ContractDescriptionHourly Rate: $55/hour | 20-40 hours/week (based on workload)Location: Center for Excellence in Early Education - 3250 SW 3 Ave. Miami, FL 33129Schedule: On-site 2 days/week (8:30 AM-3:30 PM) + flexible remote hours for meetings, documentation, and consultationThe Center for Excellence in Early Education at United Way Miami is seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Consultant to support the healthy development and emotional well-being of young children, families, and educators in our CFE Demonstration School program.Key Responsibilities:Conduct classroom observations and promote positive social-emotional developmentSupport educators with developmental screenings (e.g., ASQ:SE, DECA) and individualized intervention planningProvide consultation to teachers and families on behavioral and developmental needsParticipate in multidisciplinary child reviews, parent conferences, and staff trainingsMaintain timely and accurate documentation in ChildPlusAssist with referrals, service coordination, and strengthening community connections Requirements Active Florida license as LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalentSpecialized experience in infant and early childhood mental healthStrong foundation in early childhood development, trauma-informed care, and family-centered practicesProficient in tools such as ASQ:SE, DECA, PSI, and ChildPlusExcellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skillsWhy Join Us?Be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to giving every child a strong start.
