Licensed Independent Mental Health Provider - Columbus Community Hospital : Job Details

Join our outpatient clinic as a mental health provider and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals dealing with mental and behavioral health disorders. This position is on site on Columbus NE. This full-time position requires you to be available for 40 hours each week, working from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. You will be responsible for delivering direct mental health services to patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. Your partnership with a Psychiatrist will be pivotal in providing high-quality, evidence-based care, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions. You will also ensure timely and accurate documentation of all patient encounters. Additionally, you will have the responsibility of identifying and making referrals to necessary health care services, social programs, and community resources that can assist in addressing the needs of patients and their families. A valid Nebraska Independent Mental Health Provider (LIMHP) license and a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work are required. While proficiency in another language is an asset, it is not mandatory for this role.
