Licensed Clinician - Phoenix House Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation : Job Details

Licensed Clinician reports to the Program Director, provides clinical supervision to Counselors and other staff, and provides direct clinical services (i.e., crisis intervention/de-escalation, assessment, counseling, family therapy, referrals and discharge planning) to patients as needed. - - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - - include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Assists clinical staff in the development of treatment plans, ensuring that such plans address all facets of a patient's treatment -- mental health, substance abuse, education and vocational rehabilitation. Conducts regular interdisciplinary case conferences. Conducts workshops and individual or group therapy sessions, as needed, in conjunction with other clinical staff. Works with counselors in all areas of their job functions and facilitates open, consistent, skill-focused clinical supervision and staff development, documenting as needed.
