This short-term contract role focuses on providing psychological and social support to patients and families in an acute care setting during evening hours.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide counselling or crisis intervention
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Coordinate discharge planning and connect patients to appropriate community resources
• Advocate for patient needs while ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain timely documentation and case records

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a hospital-based Social Worker
• Active Georgia LCSW license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous experience in an acute care hospital environment
