Library Associate - TTU - Nighttime Desk - Texas Tech University : Job Details

Works in service areas providing exceptional customer service. Answers incoming phone calls and triages where appropriate. Maintains inventory of reserve items. Collects and enters statistical information of transactions outside of ALMA - Assists patrons with the reservation of Group Study Rooms. Issues Tex. Share cards, community e. Raider accounts, community borrowers cards, and guest WiFi to customers. Serves as an escalation point to the Access Services Leadership Team for customer service questions. Refers customers to the relevant Libraries faculty and staff. Serves as an escalation point for safety and security concerns, including processing Lost & Found, performing security rounds, and opening/closing the building as needed. Notifies and follows up with the supervisor about safety and security concerns. Submits End of Shift, End of Day, and Incident Reports as needed; Submits Access Services Work Orders.
