The Executive Recruiter is responsible for executing the full life cycle of direct hire recruiting for top tier, mid- to senior-level professional direct hire job orders. This role partners with clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs, analyzes hiring needs, and determines the best recruiting methods. The recruiter will develop client accounts, generate new business, and build a comprehensive candidate pipeline.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing client accounts and generating new business through candidate and client leads, referrals, and various marketing forms.
  • Partnering with clients to analyze hiring needs and creating role-specific recruiting strategies.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and recruiting best practices.
  • Building and maintaining subject matter expertise on target industries, clients, and roles.
  • Screening resumes and conducting behavioral and competency-based interviews.
  • Providing guidance and negotiating fee agreements with clients.
  • Nurturing continued account development for generating new business.
  • Touring clients' offices to understand their goals and objectives.
  • Generating Direct Hire fees per budgeted goals.
  • Tracking assignment and candidate data in various systems.
  • Creating and executing temporary employee programs.
  • Building relationships with both passive and active candidates.
  • Establishing a network of industry contacts through professional associations.
  • Developing relationships with key clients and business leaders.
  • Responding to candidate and client inquiries.
  • Completing candidate hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Participating in special projects and performing other duties as assigned.

About you

Minimum of three (3) years of experience recruiting top tier, mid- to senior-level candidates or relevant industry experience is required.

Bachelor's degree OR five (5) years of professional work experience.

Ability to communicate effectively, establish relationships, and prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.

  • Ability to identify and resolve problems with creative solutions.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and market insight.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
