About the role

The Producing Director is responsible for the growth, maintenance, development, and profitability of a division within a market team. They will develop a cohesive and productive team to sustain growth and expansion. The Producing Director manages their own book of business while leading their team to meet revenue and profitability goals for the practice area and division.

What you'll be doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, develop, and coach division personnel, including performance management and terminations, in both in-person and virtual settings.
  • Source candidates for internal opportunities and participate in the selection process as needed.
  • Motivate staff to achieve market, division, and individual goals.
  • Drive personal gross profit (GP) and oversee the activity and results of division staff.
  • Conduct regular staff and training meetings, along with periodic business reviews.
  • Collaborate with other producing and market directors to ensure client order coverage.
  • Use forecasting to increase division revenue, gross profit, and contribution.
  • Implement business strategies, direct staff, and conduct outbound sales to increase revenue and GP.
  • Develop new business and expand existing client relationships through marketing and inside sales.
  • Oversee pay, bill rates, and invoicing to meet target gross margin percentages.
  • Monitor and control division expenses, credit, and collections.
  • Manage client and candidate relationships effectively.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, local markets, and competitors.
  • Address client issues proactively to ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Demonstrate the LHH RS US 5Hs: Honesty, Human connection, Helpfulness, Hope, and Hustle.
  • Participate in community and professional organization activities.
  • Coordinate job and trade shows.
  • Interface with the Corporate Office.
About you

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related business field, or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.

At least 6 years managing a profit center and 5 years in staffing or direct hire industry. Proven sales success required.
