Follows regulatory and hospital policies and procedures. Operates semi-automatic and automatic sterilization equipment and washers.Receives, stocks, rotates, and checks goods. Pulls expired goods. Fills and distributes internal orders. Picks up reusable trays, equipment, and instruments.Maintains and controls inventory. Maintains applicable records and files.Ensures compliance with safety, environmental, manufacturer and infection control practices.Key Success FactorsKnowledge of equipment and instrument sterilization methods and procedures preferred.Knowledge of basic medical terminology.Relational skills to interact with patients and staff.Ability to comply with safety, environmental, manufacturer and infection control practices.Relational and communication skills.Belonging StatementWe believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported, and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we serve.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION - H.S.
