Level 1 Packer Technician - Owens Corning : Job Details

Visually inspects, selects, packages and labels products according to specifications. Positions and loads ware-trucks, racks, strings, etc., manually or by using assigned material handling equipment. Sets up, operates, adjusts and inspects semiautomatic and automatic packaging equipment, (including, but not limited to, stretch wrappers, baggers, shift/code printers, manual overwraps, bales, autobaggers, unitizers, retail packaging, conveying systems, etc.). Obtains schedule information from SAP. Performs packaging operations (including, but not limited to, palletizing, closing bags, wrapping bundles, etc.). Disposes of off-quality material, scrap and other debris. Reselects, repiles, relabels and/or repacks non-conforming finished goods. Operates reconditioning machine to salvage offware (including, but not limited to, feeding, packaging, weighing, etc.). Locates and Retrieves direct materials.
