Legal Office Associate New York, NY, 10017 Contract Duration: 2 Month (Temp to Perm) Shift Hours: M-F 10 AM-7 PMOverview Client is seeking a Legal Senior Onsite Service Specialist to support daily mailroom, hospitality, reception, and light print/copy operations in a legal office environment. This role requires strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle time-sensitive, confidential legal documents. Responsibilities

• Operate high-volume copy/print equipment and perform basic maintenance
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail, faxes, shipments, and supplies
• Perform document binding, finishing, scanning, OCR, and file conversion
• Assist with meeting room setup and general light maintenance
• Provide reception coverage, answer calls, greet clients and staff
• Maintain supply inventory and distribute materials as needed
• Support document delivery and occasional off-site project coordination
• Maintain accurate records, billing logs, and service meters
• Uphold high standards of confidentiality and quality control
• Interact with legal staff including secretaries, paralegals, associates, and partners

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years related experience; 2+ years in a legal setting preferred
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Basic knowledge of copier operations and office equipment
• Familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures
• Proficient in document handling, formatting, and file management
• Business casual attire required (no jeans or gym shoes)
• Must be available to work 10AM - 7PM, Monday through Friday
• Public transportation available; parking not provided
