Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Legal Counsel, Securities. AIG has recently completed its 409a and entering into discussions for further growth. The position involves providing legal advice and support on securities law matters, preparing and reviewing legal documents, and negotiating contracts. The Legal Counsel will address legal issues related to company operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Although the role is based in Wewahitchka, FL, there is flexibility for some work to be done remotely from home.

Qualifications

• Expertise in securities Law and Legal Issues
• Skills in Contract Negotiation and Legal Document Preparation
• Proficiency in providing Legal Advice
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Experience in the energy, aerospace, or defense sectors is a plus
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and membership in good standing with the state bar
