Legal Counsel - Dentsu : Job Details

We are expanding our legal team and are looking for an experienced commercial lawyer to join the dentsu U.S. Legal and Compliance team.

The role will focus on dentsu's customer experience management (CXM) practice in the U.S. and report to the Associate General Counsel, D&T and CXM - Americas. The candidate will provide legal advice supporting dentsu's marketing, data, technology, and media services.

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements such as MSAs, SOWs, data licenses, SaaS agreements, etc.
• Analyzing comments from opposing counsel and providing risk assessments.
• Managing contract administration and compliance.
• Reviewing legal contracts for management approval.
• Interpreting and applying contract terms.
• Developing legal training and risk management plans.
• Implementing best practices in compliance, contract management, IP, and data privacy.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial transactions, preferably in marketing, advertising, data, or privacy.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Knowledge of contract law, marketing law, data privacy, and IP.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Interest in media, advertising, AI, and technology industries.
