Job DescriptionAdams & Martin Group is seeking a Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join a law firm in the south Twin Cities metro. This is a direct hire opportunity with hybrid flexibility following an in office onboarding period.Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, draft, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Draft answers to interrogatories and assist in preparing responses to requests for production and admissions.
  • Manage state and federal e-filing processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Organize and maintain case files, discovery materials, and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
  • Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed.
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation and case strategy development.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5+ years of experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role, specifically in insurance defense or personal injury.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems.
  • Proficiency in drafting pleadings and discovery documents.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
