Summary :My client is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their Legal team within a dynamic healthcare organization. This role supports the legal department in managing contracts and redlining contracts along with general scheduling and organizational duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare law, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and manage a variety of legal documents and assist in all redlining matters, etc.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
- Manage and assist on scheduling for the General Counsel's
- Maintain and organize legal files, databases, and document management systems.
- Track deadlines for legal filings, renewals, and compliance reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in a healthcare or corporate legal environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
