Job DetailsJob DetailsWe are seeking a Legal and Compliance Manager. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of legal hospitality and compliance matters, and will be responsible for ensuring our company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. You will be tasked with enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as providing guidance on compliance matters.ResponsibilitiesAs a Legal and Compliance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include

• Review, draft, and maintain all business contracts, including sales, procurement, service agreements, and HR contracts.
• Ensure contracts are legally sound, compliant with company policies, and mitigate potential risks.
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date contract repository.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Provide timely legal advice on contractual and regulatory matters.
• Handle legal disputes and claims.
• Manage trademark registration, renewal processes, and maintain relevant trademark record.
• Manage insurance, license and permits related matters of the business.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies when necessary.

QualificationsThe ideal candidate for the Legal and Compliance Manager position should possess the following qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, specifically with legal hospitality across restaurants/food/beverage.
• In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping.
• A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
• Contract experience
• An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
