Lecturer Or Associate Lecturer Position In Supply Chain Management

The University of Central Florida (UCF) Department of Marketing invites applications for a 9-month, non-tenure earning lecturer or associate lecturer position in Supply Chain Management. The anticipated start date is January 2026. Responsibilities entail teaching core undergraduate and MBA supply chain management courses at the UCF Main Campus and the Downtown Campus. There is also an expectation for continuing contributions in research and service per college and department standards. Candidates must possess a record of publication productivity to be evaluated as academically qualified by UCF/AACSB standards. Teaching, research, and service record must be commensurate with rank.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Lecturer: Doctorate from an AACSB-accredited institution in supply chain management or a closely related discipline, e.g., marketing, management, productions/operations management, operations research, industrial engineering.
  • Associate Lecturer: Doctorate from an AACSB-accredited institution in supply chain management or a closely related discipline, e.g., marketing, management, productions/operations management, operations research, industrial engineering. Must be recognized for teaching excellence via college- or university-level awards, demonstrated leadership in curriculum development or revision, faculty mentor in student-led organizations, supervision of Honors thesis, and/or participation and leadership roles in teaching workshops.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success teaching supply chain to undergraduate (large-enrollment classes) and graduate students, validated by metrics such as student evaluations, qualitative feedback, and teaching awards.
  • Ability to teach at least one other quantitative marketing course (such as marketing research).
  • Engaged in an active research stream leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Experience in curriculum and/or program development.
