Learning Specialist - Rutgers University : Job Details

Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a Learning Specialist in the Office of Disability Services. This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of reasonable accommodations to all eligible students at the Camden campus at Rutgers per Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1998, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments of 2008. The Learning Specialist-Coordinator of Accommodations reports to the Director of the Office of Disability Services. The Learning Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, and providing reasonable accommodations that include academic adjustments, auxiliary aids, services to students with physical, psychological, learning, health-related, and neurological disabilities (e.g., mobility Impairments, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, learning disorders, hearing impairments, visual impairments, traumatic brain injuries, and epilepsy).
