Learning Commons Assistant, Full Time - Jamestown Community College : Job Details

Full-time, 9 months; part-time 15 hours/week in summer. Incumbents in this position are expected to provide exemplary service to our students, the college, our professional colleagues, and the community-at-large. The person in this position provides support, information, and guidance to students and others accessing services from the learning commons. The Learning Commons Assistant must have customer service, clerical, and technical skills that support a busy, student/customer-centered environment Essential Functions: Provide administrative and clerical support to the learning commons. Track and inventory equipment. Schedule student appointments with various services within the learning commons. Assist with outreach efforts to current students. Assist with promotion of learning commons services. Assist with purchasing and ordering materials and equipment, consistent with JCC policies and procedures, as well as recordkeeping and bookkeeping as it relates to expenditures and grant monies...Assistant, Operations, Customer Service, Support
