Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Lean Practitioner Manager (L Level) to join our BDS Lean team located in Everett, Renton, or Tukwila, WA!Position Responsibilities:Supports BDS programs based in Puget Sound region, including but not limited to P-8 and KC-46.Connect Lean principles and strategy to execution and results “ mature Seek, Speak, Listen and closed loop for continuous improvement.Lead and develop Lean strategies for BDS to include all facets/ functions of business.Develop and deploy systematic approach to capture and replicate best practices.Operationalize data analytics into daily Lean practice and priorities.Establish and deploy functional and business rotation program to accelerate learning and execution.Create robust communication strategy “ integrate and connect businesses with deep partnerships across functions.Acquires resources for organizational lean improvement activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.Manages, develops and motivates employees and managers.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.Additional Responsibilities to Include:Manages employees and first-level managers performing Program improvement strategies for production system, supplier system, and so forth.Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5years of experience implementing lean principles in a production system5years of experience do you have mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams5years of experience working with cross-functional teams5years of project or program management experience3years of management experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher5years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)3years of experience in Lean Workshop leadership, Accelerated Improvement Workshop, Value Stream Mapping, 3P (Production Preparation Process), Distribution Kaizen, Autonomous Maintenance Workshop.3years of experience coaching team members and leaders in an operations environment influencing others.3years of experience in a role where results are achieved through other managers3years in design/build prototype, Lean knowledge, process management skills and project leadership.3years of experience developing and deploying departmental or organizational strategies.Travel:This position may require travel up to 25%Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
