- Establish and maintain a trusting, confidential, and non-evaluative relationship with designated leaders.
- Provide designated leaders with individualized support through one-on-one meetings, small group support sessions, and just-in-time training, focusing on leadership levers within the Highly Effective Leader Framework.
- Provide guidance to leaders to ensure fidelity of implementation of the school's 90 Day Action Plan.
- Collaborate with leaders to analyze school data and assess performance outcomes to make informed decisions that lead to increased effectiveness and excellence.
- Support the leader in the development and sustainability of a learning focused culture driven by results.
- Assist leaders in building their capacity of establishing a positive school climate driven by connectivity.
- Support the leader in creating a culture of continuous improvement to maximize student and staff performance.
- Conduct site-based visits to observe leaders in action as they facilitate administrative team meetings, collaborative planning, instructional and operational leadership team meetings, and professional learning.
- Provide timely and reflective follow-up and feedback to Principals based on site visit observations.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Hold Georgia Leadership Certification.
- Minimum of three years of successful building-level leadership experience in an accredited school system.
- Extensive knowledge of Henry County Schools and the Five Year Strategic Plan.
- Deep knowledge of leadership coaching and the ability to develop and motivate others to continually grow.
- Proven track record of working well with others.
- Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.
- Ability to abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
- Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
- Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
- Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
- Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.
