Lead Warehouse Associate American Cruise Lines is a rapidly growing, nationwide company that is seeking a responsible and detailed orientated shipping and receiving lead specialist for our Essex, CT warehouse. We are looking for a goal oriented and driven person who will find exceptional career advancement opportunities. This person is responsible for managing inventory of the warehouse, shipping uniforms and supplies, and distributing packages, received to the end recipient and the warehouse. The person must have general knowledge in Microsoft Excel and have a working understanding of inventory management information systems and data collection. You will also have the opportunity to make recommendations to senior management for efficiency and process improvements. Experience with ups.com and forklifts required. Our company's values are

Responsibilities: - Package and ship warehouse inventory while maintaining par levels.
- Track and confirm delivery of orders and shipments to vessels.
- Generate inventory & shipping reports; update shipping logs.
- Create shipping lists, packing slips, shipping labels & other documentation.
- Lead and direct a team of four to six warehouse associates in day-to-day operations.
- Help train and mentor new hires.
Qualifications: - Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
- Strong Supply Chain knowledge from end to end processing of shipments
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience with freight shipments preferred.
- Highly motivated.
- Ability to lift 55 pounds.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
- Must have forklift experience and certification
- Must have a valid motor vehicle license.
- Must be located within commutable distance of Essex, CT.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
