The Opportunity:

The purpose of this role is to execute our Life Sciences strategy by consulting with agency leaders in the assigned territory, evaluating risk, and underwriting business that contributes to a profitable portfolio.

Location and Work Arrangement:

Location: New York City (55 Water Street, NYC)Work Arrangement: Hybrid (expected in the office 2-3 days per week)

Compensation:

Starting salary: $124,000 - $233,000

Your new role:

Utilize product line expertise to analyze potential business prospects and recommend profitable risk selection.

Perform complex underwriting activities in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Build and maintain relationships with agency leaders, providing sound underwriting decisions and quality service.

Manage portfolio growth by evaluating and rating complex business, communicating risks, and providing feedback.

Share expertise with peers, guide product review processes, resolve escalated issues, and monitor the impact of changes.

Lead initiatives to improve profitability and automate processes, guiding strategic plans and training programs.

Manage documents and make sound decisions to ensure adherence to business profitability objectives.

Forecast resources and manage budgets to meet fiscal responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
