Lead, Tool Design Engineer - L3Harris Technologies : Job Details

Aerojet Rocketdyne, a segment of L3 Harris, is seeking Tool Design Engineers to join our state-of-the-art facilities at our Camden, AR location, the forefront of innovation, producing and developing a variety of energetic assemblies essential for rocket propulsion. The Tool Design Engineer will develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes. Actively participates with engineering project teams in order to coordinate the release of new products. Design manufacturing tooling for the production of solid fuel rocket motors and warheads. Develop jigs, fixtures, lifting devices, and semi-automated equipment to cast and assemble the final product. Design major components or major portions of a functional system to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations. Utilizes CAD equipment to develop basic data and make preliminary layouts, sketches and notes necessary to present design proposals.
