- Plan Shipments with Logistics CoordinatorQualifications The responsibilities of the Service Technician II requires the following qualifications:
- 3 years experience specific to Wind Turbine Construction Equipment
- Extensive Mechanical Experience (5+ years)
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of problem-solving tools (e.g. Pareto, root cause, Plan/Do/Check/Act, etc.) to identify and effective countermeasures implementation
- Mechanical skills: replacement, repair, and/or adjust mechanical parts to include, but not limited to solenoid valves, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, gaskets, seals, regulators, couplings, etc. as needed
- Capable of operating shop equipment: pallet jack, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, cranes, forklifts, etc.
- Occasionally necessary to lift 50 lbs safely. Effectively use cranes and jibs.
- Electrical skills: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues utilizing multimeters and basic understanding of ladder logic, electrical schematics, perform electrical troubleshooting on AC and DC circuits/motors, input/output devices, servos, VFDs, wireless remote systems, and other components
- Capable of working under pressure while maintaining logical thought process
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed decision making based on sound prioritization of business needs
- Strong, team orientation, motivation, training and influencing skills
- Proven ability to effectively communicate / interact with Operators, supervisors, and equipment technical representatives
- Provides feedback for improvements to PMs and Job Plans.
- Facilities equipment: Forklift, overhead crane, pneumatic system operation and basic maintenance.
- Advanced computer skills
- Leadership experience in industrial setting
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $27.00 - $32.00
