Lead Synchronous Condenser Systems Application Engineer - GE Vernova : Job Details

Apply expertise in large (50 to 300 MVA) synchronous machines, in theory, operation, and installation to develop and optimize synchronous condenser solutions. Experience in synchronous condenser applications is preferred, but generator or motor application is also acceptableSupport sales and business development activities in pre-RFQ stages by presenting Synchronous Condenser offerings to prospective customers and discuss possible solutions that fit the customer requirements. Support the preparation of tender packages for synchronous condenser solutions. Analyze customer requirements; perform technical and commercial analysis to optimize system design and synchronous condenser machine selection. Coordinate synchronous condenser system designs with machine factories and power system consultants. Conduct necessary calculations for equipment selection in synchronous condenser projects, including load (var) flow, short-circuit, and insulation coordination.
