We are partnered with a fast-scaling FinTech company developing a groundbreaking investment platform that enables users to discover and mirror high-performing trading strategies in real time. Backed by top-tier investors, they are solving complex technical challenges to support rapid user growth and platform scalability.

The Role:

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and scaling the systems that power this next-generation platform. This role offers significant ownership, exposure to greenfield architecture, and the opportunity to help shape the product during a high-impact phase of growth. Responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining scalable backend microservices using Python and Go
• Designing event-driven systems and workflows leveraging Kafka and SQS
• Managing and evolving infrastructure in AWS with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Driving backend reliability, performance, and observability as the platform scales
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, product-driven environment

Requirements:

• Strong experience in backend engineering, particularly with distributed systems and microservice architectures
• Hands-on proficiency with AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and experience with tools like Kafka or SQS
• Experience developing in Python or Go in production environments
• Proven ability to thrive in high-growth, startup environments and contribute to 0→1 product development
• Background in financial services, crypto, or brokerage platforms is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred

The Benefits:

Base salary of $185,000 - $215,000 plus equity. Full benefits include health, dental, vision, and 401(k).
