$65/hr all Inclusive on Corp to CorpAny Visa5 PositionsOnly ContractDirect Client: INRIX Key: Java, Python and/or C# with AWS and background in Maps/GIS Position: Lead Software EngineerLocation: Kirkland, WADuration: 9 Months Contract Client Environment: Java / Our Infra: AWS, Kubernetes, GitOpts Primary Responsibilities: Lead development of worldwide complex systems, 4-5 software engineers in the development and deployment of INRIX products. Actively participate in hands-on coding (~70% of role) Collaborate with Data Scientists to facilitate the seamless integration of Client models into our software solutions. Own designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines that handle large volumes of data. Integrate Client models into the data pipelines to extract meaningful insights and enable data-driven decision-making. Required Skillset: Minimum of 6 years of experience with backend development. Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience leading software engineering teams. Strong expertise in building backend data pipelines and processing systems. Proven experience integrating machine learning models into software solutions. Proficiency in Java programming. Familiarity with AWS services for large-scale data processing, such as Amazon Kinesis, Apache Kafka, or AWS Glue. Experience building large-volume data web services using AWS technologies. Knowledge of data storage and querying technologies like Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, or Apache Spark. Experience working with terabytes of data and the unknowns of data validation.
