We are seeking Full Stack Software Engineers passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies. As a Capital One Lead Software Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.
This role focuses on developing self-service digital solutions for credit card customers, specifically for fraud intake, disputes, card replacements, and damaged cards. It leverages advanced AWS cloud technologies along with Java, Python, Jenkins, and Snowflake. The team collaborates with multiple groups to deliver new features that enhance the customer experience in fraud reporting. It's a great opportunity to drive innovation by transforming new interactions into efficient, self-service digital flows.
What You'll Do:Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of experienced developers to create solutions that meet regulatory needs.
Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in tech communities, and mentor others.
Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of users.
Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go; work with open source frameworks, RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools.
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience (excluding internships)
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Master's Degree
7+ years in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
3+ years in AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services
4+ years working with open source frameworks
1+ years in people management
2+ years practicing Agile methodologies
