Lead Sleep Technologist-MSW-FT Days - Mount Sinai Health System : Job Details

The Lead Sleep Technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. This individual can perform the duties defined for a sleep technologist, and is competent in all aspects of home sleep testing. Demonstrates organizational, computer, interpersonal and technical skills Responsibilities 1. Collects, analyzes and integrates patient information to identify and meet the patient-specific needs (physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical/social history). 2. Determines final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols. 3.
