Position Overview

International is seeking a Lead ServiceNow Solution Engineer to support our Digital Transformation Journey.

This role involves responsibility for IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM). The successful candidate will lead the architecture and oversee a technical team providing support and administration in these areas.

As the commercial vehicle industry undergoes significant transformation, International is leading the way by embracing digital transformation to redefine transportation and promote sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Execute the IT strategy to promote ITSM and ITOM best practices, aligning with business goals and operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships for effective knowledge exchange.
  • Develop and manage a strategic roadmap to improve organizational excellence through ITSM services, processes, and tools.
  • Promote the benefits of ITSM and ITOM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Enterprise Monitoring, and CMDB.
  • Analyze service performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, risk management, and security policies.
  • Provide technical and thought leadership for integrations and development of ITSM and ITOM tools, advocating best practices.
  • Mentor service and process managers on ITSM and ITOM concepts.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree with relevant experience
  • At least 8 years (or 6 years with a Master's degree, or 10 years with a high school diploma) of software engineering experience
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience
Additional Requirements

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, excluding current employees.

Desired Skills
  • Experience mapping infrastructure components to services for visibility and impact analysis
  • Experience with ITSM frameworks, ServiceNow, SolarWinds
  • Knowledge of Web Services, LDAP, JavaScript
  • Ability to influence, consult, and lead process improvements
  • Strong data analysis, communication, and collaboration skills
