1st Choice is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Recruiter to oversee and guide a team of recruiters in delivering top-tier talent acquisition services. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for people, process improvement, and team development. The Lead Recruiter will play a critical role in shaping recruitment strategies, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful placement of high-quality candidates across various departments

  • Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Development
  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of recruiters to meet hiring goals and performance metrics.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
  • Recruitment Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle for key roles, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Process Improvement
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Streamline recruitment processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership regarding recruitment updates and workforce planning.
  • Build strong relationships with internal departments and external partners.
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and employment laws.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate regular reports on hiring activity and team performance.

  • Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior recruiter role.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and recruitment analytics.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Preferred Qualifications:Experience recruiting in government contracting, healthcare, or professional services.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification.
