Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Kforce is working with a client in search of a Lead Quality Engineer (Guidewire Required) to join their team! This position is full time, direct hire. They offer pension plans, strong 401K match, and they have excellent retention! This position is remote, but you must reside in one of the following states with the ability to travel up to 25% of the time: CT, DE, FL, IL, IN, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TX, VA, WI. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the testing efforts for Production support, maintenance and enhancement of all applications within the IT ecosystem including Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, ImageRight, GhostDraft and API integrations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Build sprint test design and execution plans, provide estimates for testing efforts and monthly release cadence.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to define testing strategies and priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing activities with sprint plan and defined monthly release cadence.
  • Identify and report defects, track and manage defect resolution processes.
  • Set up test processes and drive continuous efficiencies.
  • Participate in daily sprint stand ups and plan for test execution of stories, features and epics.
  • Manage allocation and assignments and drive test progress.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining functional, end-to-end, performance and regression test suites that thoroughly cover all aspects of applications across the portfolio.
  • Build test plans and approaches for time travel testing including the planning associated towards required environments.
  • Participate in business requirements reviews and provide feedback to developers.
  • Work with business towards test design reviews, incorporating feedback and test results sign off.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related degree required.
  • Guidewire associate certification with latest v10 Guidewire product, preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or Quality Analyst with Guidewire products and insurance domain required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with tools like Jira, Git, Bitbucket, etc. required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with full implementation cycle of end-to-end insurance domain implementations required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working Test automation experience driven by Guidewire GT UI and API test frameworks required.
  • Experienced with Insurance domain and value chain across Policy, Claims and Billing functions.
  • Execution experience in driving QE planning, design, and execution in a SAFe agile manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
