About the Position

As a Lead Product Manager, you will execute our tech strategy through product conceptualization, research, experimentation, and iterative development. You will collaborate with colleagues across Medical / R&D, Biometrics, Clinical Program Management, and Clinical Operations to identify solutions to their challenges. Many projects will be uncharted territory, providing opportunities for innovation.

Product management at Formation Bio is solutions-oriented and entrepreneurial. While building in-house products is core, influencing processes, developing non-technical solutions, and licensing third-party software are also important aspects of the role.

About You

• You have 5+ years of product management experience, including building new or experimental products
• You are a quick learner with deep curiosity
• You are interested in adjacent processes, teams, and achieving company objectives
• You follow the evolution of LLMs and AI solutions and have insights on their impact on product development
• You excel in working with uncertainty and ambiguity, testing hypotheses, prioritizing, and executing plans
• You are hands-on and committed to your product and team success
• You have led high-performing teams and successfully launched products
• You have experience developing solutions for internal stakeholders or are eager to do so
• You have pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience or a strong interest in the field

Formation Bio is prioritizing hiring in NYC, Boston, Research Triangle (NC), and the San Francisco Bay Area. Applicants should reside in or be willing to relocate to these locations.

Compensation:

The target salary range is $180,000 - $240,000, influenced by location. The range includes base salary only. We also offer equity, benefits, perks, hybrid work, and more. If this range doesn't meet your expectations, please still apply for other opportunities.
