Job SummaryThe Lead CSA Engineer will manage all Civil, Structural, and Architectural engineering activities for Aluminum industry projects as part of the Owner's Team. This role spans the full project lifecycle—from Basic Engineering through EPCM/EPC execution and commissioning. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and collaboration in a multicultural environment.

This position will be based on site in Greenville, SC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Scope Development
  • Lead reviews of all CSA engineering deliverables, including drawings and specifications.
  • Perform required CSA calculations and ensure technical accuracy.
  • Review and verify CSA activities related to EHS deliverables.
  • Provide technical support to procurement for CSA-related items.
  • Planning and Scheduling
  • Develop and manage CSA engineering schedules to ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
  • Ensure CSA activities do not become part of the project's critical path.
  • Data Collection & Documentation
  • Ensure all project communications and transmittals are managed through Aconex.Upload all relevant documentation, including equipment operation and maintenance manuals, to Aconex.
  • Actively contribute to HAZOP/HAZID and similar safety studies throughout all project phases.
  • Ensure CSA equipment is appropriately selected and installed in classified areas.
  • Assessment & Evaluation
  • Review and interpret plans, specifications, material proposals, and construction methods for CSA works.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, Worley standards, and international codes.
  • Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) per Engineering Standards.
  • Ensure CSA equipment installation is supervised by qualified vendors.
  • Training & Development
  • Provide technical training and mentorship to junior CSA engineers.
  • Monitoring & Execution
  • Monitor EPC/EPCM and construction contractors for adherence to IFC drawings and contract documents.
  • Review Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs) for CSA equipment.Support the Project Manager with documentation control, reporting, and cost analysis.
  • Communication & Coordination
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project planning.
  • Conduct weekly alignment meetings with engineering teams and managers.
  • Reporting
  • Develop technical and management reports to highlight CSA performance, risks, and mitigation plans.

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license or higher preferred.Minimum 15 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on capital projects.Proven experience in project risk management and international engineering standards.Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects in multicultural environments.

This position will be based on site in Greenville, SC.
