You'll be responsible for preparing, painting, refinishing, and maintaining interior and exterior surfaces across our campus, including resident apartments, healthcare areas, offices, and community spaces.The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.You also must have a valid, unexpired driver's license for this position.Primary roles and responsibilities include:Lead painting projects and coordinate with internal staff and contractorsPerform surface preparation: patching, sanding, taping, priming, sealingApply paint, stains, and coatings using industry best practicesMaintain a clean, safe work environment, respecting resident living spacesAccurately document work in our computer systems and communicate updatesEnsure quality control, safety compliance, and timely project completionProvide excellent customer service to residents and team membersThe successful candidate for this role will have a high school degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, with lead or supervisory experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred, demonstrated ability to communicate and interact respectfully and effectively with a diverse group of people, demonstrated ability to work independently and as well as part of a team. Proficiency in residential/ commercial painting techniques and safety standards, strong organizational, communication, and time management skills, and basic computer skills; work order systems experience a plus. A valid driver's license is required. Must be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces.Kendal at Hanover offers a competitive hourly rate plus generous evening/night/weekend shift differentials.
