About the Role

We are looking for an accomplished Lead Media Strategist to become a vital part of our expanding team. This senior leadership role will oversee our paid media initiatives, emphasizing client strategy, performance, and retention, alongside team management, new business development, and achieving departmental goals.

The successful candidate should possess significant experience in both traditional and digital media strategies, including display, OOH, linear TV, radio, video, search, social, CTV/OTT, and programmatic. Familiarity with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and other measurement tools is essential.

In this role, you'll harness strong analytical skills, superior presentation abilities, and a solid understanding of budgeting and financial goals. You will also manage and inspire a growing team in a fast-paced environment, overseeing campaigns at both regional and national levels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Craft and guide the vision and goals for the paid media division, aligning them with the agency's broader objectives. Collaborate with agency executives, manage budgets, identify growth opportunities, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as a primary contact for clients, placing a strong emphasis on understanding their needs and ensuring overall satisfaction while fostering trust and effective communication.
  • Team Management: Recruit and mentor a high-caliber team, nurturing a culture of collaboration and innovation. Monitor the success of ad campaigns and evaluate team performance against established KPIs.
  • Campaign Development and Execution: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to create compelling advertising campaigns that are effectively tracked and attributed. Maintain media vendor relationships and ensure timely and budget-compliant campaign execution.
  • Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

    • Agency leadership experience is essential.
    • A minimum of 10 years leading media strategies and agency teams.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of media and integrated marketing practices on a national scale.
    • Strong relationships with media partners.
    • Proficiency with media buying platforms and analytics tools.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively.
    • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
    • Superb communication skills, suitable for interacting with C-suite executives.
    • At least a Bachelor's degree; an MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
    • Flexibility with work hours is required.
