Job Overview

Kitchen Tune-Up Lake Country, WI is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our team. This hands-on role involves working on various kitchen remodeling projects, including cabinet refacing, redooring, painting, custom cabinet installation, and wood restoration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cabinet refacing by applying veneer to cabinet boxes.
  • Install new doors and drawer fronts.
  • Apply paint to cabinets, including preparation, priming, and finishing.
  • Install custom cabinets according to design specifications.
  • Conduct wood restoration (Tune-Ups) to revitalize existing cabinets.
  • Install crown molding and other trim work with precision.
  • Modify existing cabinetry and perform general carpentry to accommodate appliances, enhance functionality, or align with updated designs.
  • Drill for and install hardware such as hinges, handles, and knobs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with project manager and clients, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
    • Qualifications
    • Proven experience in cabinet installation, carpentry, or related field.
    • Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to various project requirements.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Ability to pass a background check.
    Physical Requirements
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and materials (up to 50 lbs).
    • Comfortable standing, bending, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
