Lead I&C Hardware/FPGA Design Engineer - GE Vernova : Job Details

The Hardware and Test Engineer is responsible for the delivery of high-quality engineering electronic hardware designs and testing strategies. Work scope typically includes the following essential responsibilities:Develop creative solutions and reduce complexity to create accurate and effective solutions for complex engineering problems. Typical hardware activities will include creating a design from requirements and helping define requirements where necessary. Design activities include schematic design, component selection, PCB layout, PLD/ FPGA design, performing simulation/module testing, PLD/ FPGA code reviews, and integration testing of the design. This also includes design verification of these same activities. Documenting designs by creating Design Specifications, performing PLD/ FPGA code reviews, and writing test reports. Engage customers to define scope, review results, and discuss technical risks.
