Pay Range: $22 - $25 per hour.PURPOSE As the Lead Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in creating a welcoming and organized front-of-house experience. In addition to standard hosting responsibilities, you will oversee the host team, manage the flow of service, and support the management team in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, setting the tone for their dining experience
  • Inform guests when their table is ready and personally escort them to their seats
  • Assist with carrying drinks from the bar to the table and transferring tabs when needed
  • Ensure guests are comfortably seated by pulling out chairs and adjusting tables as necessary
  • Answer incoming calls professionally and courteously, providing accurate information
  • Manage the host rotation system to optimize table usage and guest flow
  • Monitor the dining room and host stand to identify open tables and seating opportunities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked host stand at all times
  • Lead and support the host team by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring consistent service standards
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and management to coordinate seating and guest needs
  • Respond to guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate to management when appropriate
  • Assist with opening, running, and closing side work duties, and ensure host team completion
  • Move furniture and equipment as directed by management
  • Perform regular walkthroughs of the restaurant to assess guest flow and seating availability
  • Train new hosts and provide ongoing coaching to ensure team success
  • Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 18+ years of age
  • Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
  • Minimum of one (1) years related experience
  • Familiarity with Opentable
  • Proper lifting techniques
  • Guest relations
  • Sanitation and safety
  • Safe alcohol service
  • Full-service restaurant operations
  • Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public
