Lead Financial Analyst - FP&A - Irvine, CA

Eaton's Aerospace Group division is currently seeking a Lead Financial Analyst - FP&A. The expected annual salary range for this role is $107812.53 - $158125.04 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the preparation, analysis and presentation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for Aerospace Group budgets
  • Manage monthly budget vs actuals reporting and variance analytics for senior leadership team, working with Controllership team to ensure accuracy, timely reporting of variances and projection
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process for Aerospace consolidated financial statements, with emphasis in functional costs reviews and SG&A expenses, providing analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost optimization
  • Prepare and deliver executive presentations to stakeholders as needed
  • Support Profit Plan and Operating Reviews
  • Drive standardization and process improvements to streamline efforts and improve accuracy of financial reporting
  • Develop financial models and ad-hoc reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Basic (Required) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university. 5+ years of experience working in the finance function Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50 mile radius of Irvine, CA OR Torrance, CA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Preferred Qualifications: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills Manufacturing industry experience is preferred Experience managing budgets and an understanding of how functional cost works in a matrix environment Strong Excel skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements Attention to detail Critical thinking and problem solving Good communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with financial planning and reporting tools preferred
