Who will you be working with?

The Lead Facility Maintenance Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a comprehensive site maintenance program, including direct management of the site's maintenance team. This key staff position will help drive KCR's preventive maintenance program, support the production team by responding to and limiting equipment downtime, and coordinate both equipment OEM and contractor maintenance visits.

How will you make a difference?

This role is responsible for forecasting and managing annual plant maintenance budgets. It will drive structure, rigor, and process improvements into the maintenance team and plant's maintenance practices. You will interact cross-functionally with plant staff, workforce, site maintenance technicians, business resources, and various equipment OEMs and vendors supporting the facility.

What do we want to know about you?Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related technical discipline, OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 8 years of facility/maintenance management experience.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience with TPM systems and Lean principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others.
  • Experience with Maximo or similar maintenance ERP systems.
  • Proactive attitude, sense of urgency, and ability to prioritize.
  • Hands-on mechanical skills and experience working on machines or equipment.
  • Experience managing maintenance for a facility or operation, including equipment installation and modifications.
  • Experience with remanufacturing operations and CNC or relevant machine programming.
What will your typical day look like?Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all maintenance activities across the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and practices.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and seek cost reduction opportunities.
  • Oversee procurement, critical spares, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Lead hiring, training, and supervision of the Maintenance Technician team.
  • Develop a collaborative team focused on solving complex problems.
  • Manage contractor relations and ensure safety and contract compliance.
  • Maintain documentation on equipment failure statistics and analysis.
  • Ensure 24/7 availability of maintenance support with backup staffing.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside your primary function, with appropriate training provided.
