Lead Engineer - The J.M. Smucker Company : Job Details

The Lead Engineer role has responsibility over the entirety of plant operations. The two operating departments are Consumer and Away From Home. The Consumer department has three processing/packaging lines and pack out glass jars and plastic bottles. These high volume, highly automated lines produce Jams, Jellies, Preserves (JJ - Ps), Breakfast Syrup, Fruit Spreads, and Ice Cream Toppings. Away From Home produces plastic portion control cups of JJP and Breakfast Syrup. Each department has dedicated Process Engineer and Engineering Co-Op positions. The Lead Engineer will teach, coach, and mentor these professionals to hone their engineering and leadership skills.
