Our team is currently looking for a Lead Engineer to join us.
As a lead engineer, you are the owner of all technical aspects of a project and its delivery.
As a smart building expert at KODE Labs, you are shaping, directing, and leading how a project is deployed, along with what is deployed in order to ensure that we are meeting and exceeding client expectations.
You will work closely with project managers, clients, and the MC engineering team to guide them in the right direction as well as step in to perform engineering tasks in order to deliver rapid and high-quality smart building solutions. Essentially, the buck stops with you when it comes to all things KODE OS delivery related.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and sales teams to define and design integration approaches for KODE OS within client infrastructure.Address client use cases, pain points, and KODE OS needs.Translate client requirements into technical tasks and milestones.Guide the team on network setup, middleware choices (e.g., Niagara), and KODE OS module deployment.Assist project managers with updates, documentation, and technical tasks.Provide technical leadership to engineers, unblock issues, and ensure project progress.Oversee deployment quality to minimize rework and ensure all projects meet deadlines.Drive continuous improvements in deployment processes.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution, share knowledge, and drive efficiency.Requirements
3-4 years of experience with Niagara, BMS integration, and smart building technologies.Proven expertise in deploying and integrating complex systems effectively.Strong leadership skills to guide engineers, project managers, and stakeholders towards successful project outcomes.Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and keeping clients updated on progress and potential issues.Expertise in translating complex client requirements into clear, actionable tasks and milestones.Advanced planning skills for managing timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring on-time project delivery.Strong commitment to delivering high-quality projects with minimal rework and maximum client satisfaction.Quick problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently and keep the team on track.Proactive in identifying and driving process improvements to optimize workflows and enhance team efficiency.Experience leading initiatives that streamline operations, improve team performance, and accelerate product deployment.Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities to resolve technical blockers and guide the team to effective solutions.Competitive salary based on experience
