Lead Engineer (Electrical) - Regional Engineering - Carolinas Dispatchable Generation (Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC) - Duke Energy Corporation : Job Details

Function as a technical resource for Carolinas Dispatchable Generation Stations. Serve as Engineer of Record for Electrical Systems and Equipment. Provide technical support for Equipment Inspection, Testing, and Troubleshooting. Provide technical support for Project Implementation teams. Participate in field inspections and testing activities at appropriate frequencies to enhance construction, commissioning, and operational support of Station projects. Drive consistency and share best practices across the operating fleet by utilizing Technical Standards (i.e. procedures, design criteria, specifications, equipment standards, vendor lists, technical lessons learned, etc.). Provide input to these documents to reflect lessons learned, standardization, and changes to industry practice. Establish technical requirements for conducting reviews and gaining acceptance of design modifications of control systems and equipment.
