Required/Core:
  • Electrical motor design, electrical subsystem design, gas turbine, etc.
  • Electrical packaging engineer(space claiming, clamping and its selection, knowledge of aftermarket components etc)
  • Cable routing
  • Experience in designing systems upto 15KVA ratings
  • Material selection for motor components
  • Regulatory standards
  • Autocad, any electrical CAD tools
  • Electrical schematic drawing creation
  • Wiring and harness drawing creation
  • P&ID drawing creation
  • Electrical BOM
  • Wirelist creation
  • PLM/PDM and ERP system
Good to have:
  • Solidworks
  • Knowledge of mechanical assemblies
  • Complete packaging process flow knowledge.
