Job Description Lead Electrical Engineer Full Time/ Direct Hire On-Site : Hendersonville, TN $95k-$110k+ Annually DOE (salary increased by 10-20% after probation period of 3-6 mths) **RELOCATION ASSISTANCE OFFERED
You will: - Design and develop electrical systems for amusement rides and adventure parks.
- Ensure safety standards are met while optimizing performance and cost.
- Design and create schematics and drawings for new circuits and motor control strategies.
- Implement DFM and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Create technical documentation and translate complex information for diverse audiences.
- Ensure safety standards (SIL) are met while balancing battery life, uptime, and manufacturing costs.
- Write and implement quality control standards for parts and assemblies.
- Perform technical writing tasks including schematic design, operational flowcharting, test plans, verification reports, and user documentation.
- Proficiently use Solidworks Electrical or similar design software.
- Lead and manage multiple projects and team members simultaneously.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3-5+ years of experience (or 10+ years in a related role).
- Expertise in motor controls and/or battery-supplied drive systems.
- Advanced knowledge of GD&T and design for manufacturability.
- Experience with ISO or ASTM quality control procedures, risk analysis, and product design optimization.
- Expertise in motor controls and/or battery-powered systems.
- Experience with ISO/ASTM quality control and design optimization.
- Strong technical writing and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Solidworks Electrical (or similar) and project management software.
Bonus points for (not required):
- Hands-on engineering development and testing experience.
- Familiarity with CNC controls, ASTM F24, and CE standards.
- Engineering management and/or sales support experience.
- Experience in an engineering sales role or supporting sales and marketing departments.
- Understanding of economic principles, market analysis, and cost forecasting.
- Advanced fabrication skills, including welding and machining.
