We are looking for a Full Time Lead Data Engineer (Databricks and AWS) for a long term period.

Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite)

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Lead Data Engineer to join our dynamic data team. This role is perfect for someone with deep technical expertise in data engineering frameworks and cloud technologies, and who can effectively collaborate across teams through exceptional communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using Databricks and AWS services
• Build robust ETL processes for ingestion, transformation, and orchestration of large data sets
• Optimize performance and efficiency of SQL-based data transformations
• Lead and Guide development team

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles
• Proficient in Databricks (PySpark/Delta Lake) and AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda
• Excellent SQL Skills
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Experience in Insurance domain
• Excellent communication skills
